Program Description
The Advanced Esthetics with Medical Fundamentals Technical Certificate of Credit is designed to offer advanced esthetics training for students to assist in a medical setting. This certificate prepares students for advanced procedures in esthetics, building upon the skills learned in their fundamentals courses. After completing the certificate, students can easily transition from the basic to the more advanced esthetic related medical procedures, as well as advanced skin care treatments such as microneedling, microchanneling, IPL, etc.
Admission Requirements
- Submit completed application and application fee
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript with test scores and ALL post-secondary transcripts in an official sealed envelope
- Meet assessment requirements
Licensure Eligible Program
The Cosmetology program at Southern Crescent Technical College is regulated by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology, 237 Coliseum Dr., Macon, GA 31217, Phone 478-207-2440. Graduates are eligible to take the Georgia State Board of Esthetician Examination.

A minimum grade of C for each course is required to receive a Nail Technician TCC from SCTC.
