AVOT 2003 Aviation Meteorology and National Airspace System

Aviation Meteorology introduces students to weather theory and provides new small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) pilots with basic knowledge of weather principles. This course develops understanding into how weather affects sUAS mission activities and how to make preflight decisions based on weather reports and forecasts. Discussion will also include the various categories within the National Airspace System to insure students understand how to operate legally and safely in the proximity of other aircraft.
