FILM 1110 Make-up, Hair and Wardrobe Special Techniques for Film and TV

This course is designed to build on previous acquired knowledge and skills learned as a licensed cosmetologist. And develop the necessary skills requred to be successful within the film and television industry. Emphasis will be placed on research and design of hairstyles and make-up applications dating back as early as 3000 BC. Other topics in this course include tools and knowledge of products, artificial hair enhancements, hair coloring techniques, and selection of wardrobes for film and television. A portion of this course will be taught in a laboratory setting for the development of all skills required to be a competent Film and Television Production Hair Style and Make-up Technician.
