Program Description
The small Unmanned Aircraft Systems TCC provides students the opportunity to acquire a Federal Aviation Administration Certification as a Remote Pilot with small Unmanned Arial Systems Rating. Within this structured training program, students will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to operate Remote Aircraft Systems with commercial privileges. In addition, the completion of this certificate will enable individuals to operate Drones for hire throughout the United States. FAA certification will provide employers the confidence that applicants have acquired the necessary skills to perform tasks utilizing sUAS systems safely within the National Airspace System. Simulator systems knowledge in addition to actual hands-on flight operations will prepare students for a variety of commercial applications.
Admission Requirements
- Submit completed application and application fee
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript with test scores and ALL post-secondary transcripts in an official sealed envelope
- Meet assessment requirements
