Program Description

The Geriatric Care Assistant Program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to provide compassionate and competent care to elderly patients in various healthcare settings. This program focuses on the unique needs of the aging population and prepares students for a rewarding career in geriatric care. 

Program Entrance Requirement

Students must have completed one of the NAST courses listed below with a grade C or better and/or hold an active GA-CNA certification in good standing.

•   NAST 1100: Nurse Aide Fundamentals
•   NAST 2100: Nurse Aide Accelerated
•   NAST 2105: Nurse Aide Fast Track

College Admission Requirements

Prospective students entering all degree, diploma and certificate programs must do all of the following: 

• Complete Application for Admissions ($25 Non-Refundable Fee).
• High school diploma or GED are required
• Submit all Official Final College transcripts (if you wish to transfer credits). 
• Proof of US Citizenship and Proof of GA Residency
