Program Description

The Basic Material Processing certificate program is designed to introduce students to the transformation of industrial materials from a raw material state to finished parts or products. Emphasis is placed on industrial safety, basic machine tool processes, lathe operations, and mill operations.

Admission Requirements

  • Submit completed application and application fee
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED is required
